Tea Tree is a very popular essential oil that traces its origin to the Aboriginal tribes of Australia. For over a thousand years, people have been using leaves of the Tea tree for their strong disinfectant and antibacterial properties. Today, we’re able to harness these amazing and unique properties by extracting the essential oil, or true “essence” of the plant to offer a very pure, clean and effective form of Tea Tree’s best properties.
Tea Tree oil has many applications - it can be used for topical skin care to treat acne and other skin ailments, for treating fungus and microbes, as an overall skin and hair refresher in the bath, and as a dandruff treatment. Tea Tree oil is also used in hand sanitizers, as a natural disinfectant in household cleaning sprays, and is very popular in atomizers for a fresh, clean scent in the home or office. It has a wonderful green, medicinal, woody aroma.
