CLOVE LEAF

Cloves have been regarded as the most venerable of spices since antiquity. In China 266 BC, guests of the Emperor would be required to hold cloves in their mouth when speaking as to bestow a pleasant odor.

Clove essential oil is utilized extensively in dental care, added in various toothpastes, mouthwashes, and oral medication. Not only does it contain analgesic properties (pain relieving), it also is strongly antimicrobial and antibacterial, a perfect combination for combating toothaches and other teeth related ailments. Apply a drop of clove oil to your toothbrush and feel the tingle as it cleans your teeth. When a drop is added to a pained tooth, it will immediately dull the pain.

GRAPEFRUIT

Grapefruit is a hybrid between the sweet orange and an Indonesian pomelo. The essential oil is produced by cold pressing the rind to produce an oil that is an aromatic replica of the actual fruit.

Grapefruit essential oil is considered a powerful antioxidant, helping to scavenge free radicals. The astringent properties of assist in reducing obesity, cellulite, and tightening pores on the face, resulting in a more youthful complexion. The inherent disinfectant properties make grapefruit oil suitable for oily and acne prone skin. It also acts as lymphatic tonic, cleansing and boosting its function, thus improving the immune system. MANDARIN

Mandarin is native to the Far East, in particularly southern China but is now grown primarily in Italy. The peel contains the essential oil which is secreted by the glands of the zest. The tree thrives in hot, humid temperatures and rich soil, although trees in a more temperate climate grow more slowly, yet produce a greater quantity of oil. The fruit was traditionally offered to rulers as a show of respect in China. It was later introduced to Europe and America in the 1800s.

Mandarin essential oil works to detoxify congested and oily skin, thereby relieving it of common skin ailments such as acne. It’s skin toner properties help to reduce visible signs of scars, stretch marks, and cellulite. Mandarin essential oil stimulates the lymph system, boosting the immune system. Bergamot is a Mediterranean citrus fruit that is not edible but omits a wonderful scent. Calabria, a region of Italy, produces most of the Bergamot in the world. Bergamot scents many colognes and flavors Earl Grey tea. In traditional Italian folk medicine the oil was used to fight fever and infection.

Bergamot essential oil helps with a myriad of ailments. It is an effective skin healer for eczema, acne, blemishes, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids. Christopher Columbus introduced the citrus to the New World in the late 1400s. the oil is popular in cleaning agents and colognes and is widely used in aromatherapy.

Lemon essential oil works well on oily skin and general impurities. It’s astringent properties reduce cellulite, obesity and tightens sagging, lackluster skin. It helps with acne, mouth ulcers, varicose veins, arthritis, muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, joint swelling, poor circulation, throat and respiratory ailments, and gout.
