Eugenol

Eugenol Oil

Eugenol is an allyl chain-substituted guaiacol. Colorless to pale yellow oil, it is extracted from various essential oils, most notably from clove oil, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It's highest concentration is found in clove where it can comprise up to 90% of the oil.

Eugenol is a welcome addition to perfumery, flavoring, and used in a simlar function to essential oils
