LEMON

Lemon is indigenous to Southeast Asia, but in the second century was introduced to Greece, then Italy, where it quickly adapted to the Mediterranean climate. is now widely cultivated in Italy, Australia, and California. Christopher Columbus introduced the citrus to the New World in the late 1400s. the oil is popular in cleaning agents and colognes and is widely used in aromatherapy.

Lemon essential oil works well on oily skin and general impurities. It's astringent properties reduce cellulite, obesity and tightens sagging, lackluster skin. It helps with acne, mouth ulcers, varicose veins, arthritis, muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, joint swelling, poor circulation, throat and respiratory ailments, and gout. Native to Southeast Indonesia, Litsea Cubeba also known as May Chang, is an evergreen shrub that produces a fruit used to process a lemony essential oil. It popular among the Taiwanese and Chinese. China is the largest exporter of the oil. It has a characteristic lemon / citrus type scent that is wonderful to incorporate into fragrant formulations.

Litsea Cubeba is considered to act as a vulnerary, stimulant anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, deodorant, digestive, insecticidal, sedative,, stomachic, and antibiotic agent.

LEMON EUCALYPTUS

Lemon eucalyptus, also known as eucalyptus citriodora, is the sister of the popular eucalyptus but coupled with lemon undertones. It is a wonderful essential oil that shares many of the same attributes of eucalyptus. Energizing, invigorating, and therapeutic, a must have essential oil.
