YLANG YLANG OIL

Napoleon brought a bottle of Spanish jasmine, as recorded by his perfumer Chardin, as a gift to his wife Empress Josephine of France.

The scent of Jasmine stimulates the brain to release “encephaline,” a neurotransmitter which acts as an analgesic and induces euphoria. For this reason it is a remarkably effective antidepressant.
