A B O U T

The orange tree is thought to be a hybrid between the pomelo citrus fruit and mandarin. It is native to Asia and is now grown worldwide with Brazil leading worldwide production. The essential oil is extracted by cold pressing the rind of the sweet orange.

Orange essential oil is a wonderfully fragrant oil. It has demonstrated significant antibacterial capacity which makes it appropriate for natural disinfectants. Orange oil also clears the lymphatic system, improving immune function. The oil is also reputed to rid termites without the use of harmful chemicals. Orange oil is suitable for practically all applications and is a sure bet with its invigorating and unmistakable aroma.

Orange essential oil is a delightful addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, incense, candles, and aromatherapy.

U S E S

Caution: Do not put Orange essential oil directly on your skin full-strength. It must be diluted in a carrier (either oil or soap) first.
Carrier oil suggestions: Almond, Hemp, MCT, Jojoba, Apricot, Sunflower, and Olive Oils.

For Skin and Hair Use: Dilute 1% (5-6 drops) of Orange essential oil per ounce of your favorite carrier oil.

In the Bath: Mix 1 TBSP of liquid body wash and 5-6 drops of Orange essential oil. Once the bath is drawn, add the dilution into the water and mix it well.

In a Diffuser: Add 3-5 drops of Orange essential oil for every 100 ml of water.

Refreshing Spray: Add 1 teaspoon of orange essential oil to 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe. Shake the bottle well before each use.
