A B O U T

Native to India, organic lemongrass essential oil has a long history in South America and Southeast Asia. It is predominantly grown in India, China, and Central America and is a top-selling essential oil.

Lemongrass essential oil has many benefits including the ability to effectively work as an insect repellent. It is also strongly antifungal and antimicrobial, riding unwanted bacteria from the skin and countertops alike. Couple this with the fresh scent and the oil is quite suitable for a myriad of cosmetic applications such as soaps, deodorants, perfumes, and much more. The fresh scent works wonders on the mind and infuses a sense of vitality and is considered an antidepressant. Organic lemongrass oil has analgesic properties helping to recover from muscle soreness, arthritis, and jet lag.

Lemongrass essential oil is an excellent addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, incense, candles, and aromatherapy.

U S E S

Caution: Do not put Lemongrass essential oil directly on your skin full-strength. It must be diluted in a carrier (either oil or soap) first.
Carrier oil suggestions: Almond, Hemp, MCT, Jojoba, Apricot, Sunflower and Olive Oils.

For Skin and Hair Use: Dilute 1% (5-6 drops) of Lemongrass essential oil per ounce of your favorite carrier oil.
In the Bath: Mix 1 TBSP of liquid body wash and 5-6 drops of Lemongrass essential oil. Once the bath is drawn, add the dilution into the water and mix it well.
In a Diffuser: Add 3-5 drops of Lemongrass essential oil for every 100 ml of water.
Refreshing Spray: Add 1 teaspoon of Lemongrass essential oil to 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe. Shake the bottle well before each use.
