ABOUT
Texas cedarwood essential oil is a prominent and fragrant variety of cedarwood autochthonous to the Southwest of America. Cedarwood has a long history of use throughout the world. The Egyptians would infuse the oil in the deceased in addition to using it for perfumes and incense. The Tibetans diffuse the oil throughout temples as it is considered centering and relaxing.
Texas cedarwood essential oil has a woodier and more mellow scent compared to its sister Himalayan variety. Immensely popular, this variety of cedarwood is absolutely wonderful.
Texas cedarwood is sought after not only for its aromatic qualities but also for the therapeutic benefits it harnesses. It is considered an astringent which helps to tighten the skin and improve skin complexion. It is also thought to stimulate the immune system and purify the air. Its scent promotes tranquility and combats negative thoughts. Cedarwood oil is also considered an effective insect repellent.

U S E S
Caution: do not put Cedarwood essential oil directly on your skin full-strength. It must be diluted in a carrier (either oil or soap) first.
Carrier oil suggestions: Almond, Hemp, MCT, Jojoba, Apricot, Sunflower, and Olive Oils all work well with Cedarwood essential oil.
For Skin and Hair Oil: Dilute 1% (5-6 drops) of essential oil per ounce of your favorite carrier oil.
In your Favorite Shampoo: Dilute 1 - 3% (5 - 10 drops) per ounce of shampoo. Lather and rinse as usual.
In a diffuser: Add 3-5 drops of Cedarwood essential oil for every 100 ml of water.
Cleaning Spray: Add 1 teaspoon of Cedarwood essential oil to 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe. Shake the bottle well before each use.
