ABOUT

Cedarwood oil was used by the Egyptians to embalm the deceased, added into perfumes and cosmetics alike. It has a purifying and calming aspect to it which is why the Tibetans use it in incense and temples.

Atlas Cedarwood essential oil assists with skin infections, tightens pores, fights acne, removes blemishes, helps with oily skin, dandruff, hair loss, coughs, insect repellent, fungus, cellulite, arthritis, and purifies the air. It also reduces anxiety and promotes meditative states.

Atlas Cedarwood essential oil is antiseptic, astringent, diuretic, expectorant, fungicidal, sedative, insecticide, and a tonic.

U S E S

Caution: do not put Cedarwood essential oil directly on your skin full-strength. It must be diluted in a carrier (either oil or soap) first.

Carrier oil suggestions: Almond, Hemp, MCT, Jojoba, Apricot, Sunflower, and Olive Oils all work well with Cedarwood essential oil.

For Skin and Hair Oil: Dilute 1% (5-6 drops) of essential oil per ounce of your favorite carrier oil.

In your Favorite Shampoo: Dilute 1 - 3% (5 - 10 drops) per ounce of shampoo. Lather and rinse as usual.

In a diffuser: Add 3-5 drops of Cedarwood essential oil for every 100 ml of water.

Cleaning Spray: Add 1 teaspoon of Cedarwood essential oil to 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe. Shake the bottle well before each use.
