Artemesia, colloquially known as Wormwood, is most famously known as the key ingredient in the alcoholic drink absinthe. It is considered to act as an effective insecticide, in particular warding off yellow-jackets and wasps. Words of caution as similar to the beverage, of which was banned in the USA, the oil is very strong and should be used sparingly. It blends especially well with all varieties of Lavender and Lavandin, Jasmine, Orange, and Oakmoss.
