Chamomile German Essential Oil, ORGANIC

German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) essential oil, sometimes called Blue Chamomile, has a strong earthy, woody, floral aroma while its cousin Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) essential oil has a lighter, fresh floral scent.
In aromatherapy and in home care products, both German and Roman Chamomile essential oils are used as a natural air fresheners and deodorizers.
In personal care products such as cosmetics and skin care, German Chamomile essential oil is more widely used than Roman Chamomile to hydrate and soften the skin.
In perfumery, both are used. German Chamomile is more commonly used in “masculine” fragrances, while Roman Chamomile is more commonly used in “feminine” fragrances to create a sense of freshness, purity, and innocence.
