The jasmine flowers are first picked by hand and then soaked in a solvent. The solvent extracts the essential oil from the flowers, and then the solvent is evaporated, leaving behind the pure absolute, more viscous than the essential oil.

• Jasmine Sambac Absolute possesses a sweeter, less intense and more musty aroma, slightly fruity. It is often described as having notes of orange blossom and tuberose. Besides perfumery, both of these Jasmine Absolutes are used in Aromatheraapy, and in Personal Care products, including cosmetics, soaps, lotions, and other skin care products.
